After this update, some major changes will appear in your Android smartphone. Facebook has announced that WhatsApp will no longer be available on older Android devices running version 4.0.4 or lower. WhatsApp only works on smartphones running Android 4.1 (or higher), iOS 10 (or higher), or KaiOS 2.5.0 (or higher).
For this reason, WhatsApp does not work on devices like LG Optimus L5, LG Optimus L7, Motorola Atrix 2, Motorola Droid 4, Motorola Razr V, Samsung Galaxy S Duos, Samsung Galaxy Y Plus, Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S and Sony Xperia neo.
