We get it, have you seen those beautiful landscapes and cozy homes? amazing!
I'm thinking of horror… No Switzerland!
After the tremendous success it achieved Think of the Netherlands Andre van Duyne, Janie van der Heijden and her loyal friend Nhan return to the screen to take you on a winter journey through the snowy mountains of Switzerland. To do this, they swap Dutch waters for enchanting Alpine landscapes, and instead of boat they choose to explore by train. This way they can fully enjoy the landscape and also work sustainably.
The second episode takes them to the historic city of Lucerne, located on Lake Lucerne. There they explore the city's highlights, while Janie delves into Swiss cuisine. Janie and Andrei then transfer from the train to the boat and sail towards Rigi, also known as the “Queen of the Mountains”. Here they learn more about traditional products from a group of Alpine farmers Alpsigin Soon after they learned how to sing from a mountain choir.
The train ride is amazing
Reactions on X (formerly Twitter) show the impact this program has on viewers. Many of them share their enthusiasm and desire to experience the beauty of Switzerland for themselves, inspired by Janie and Andre's amazing train journey. “Now I also want to go to Switzerland,” says one viewer. Another person responds: “It's actually unbelievable how beautiful Switzerland is. The train ride is the way to get there and get around.”
Of course, preferably with this fun duo. “I want to go on vacation with Janie and Andre,” a viewer answers. This desire shows that viewers feel connected to the presenters and their exciting adventures. Moreover, one ardent fan is counting on being able to completely follow Janie and Andre's path: “I hope that Omroep MAX will eventually share Andre and Janie's path with us.” I would also like to take the train.
Source of inspiration
The combination of Janie who plays the smart guy all the time and Andre who plays the clueless traveler seems to work very well. Moreover, it is clear that I'm thinking of Switzerland It is not just a program, but it is also an inspiration for many to take the train and discover the beautiful nature and culture of Switzerland for themselves. Do you also feel like packing your bag?
