The Cincinnati Bengals had what could be considered one of their dirtiest matches in team history against dolphins. The multiple projectiles on either side of the ball were the result of unnecessary and irresponsible reckless play.
The Bengals had a handful of set plays that resulted in many clashes between the two teams, and if we’re being honest, they should. Mike Thomas absolutely cooked the Dolphins Punt Returner before he could catch the ball.
That sparked the second quarrel. While the dolphins still picked up the bulk of the projectile as many players were taken out, there were more plays that caught the eye than the ones actually reported.
Here’s an example of one of them, in which Sean Williams appears to be stepping on ankle number 66. The camera was following goalkeeper Solomon Kindley as he fell to the ground. Williams appears to be looking down, coming forward, and then looking away.
With the addition of Vonn Bell and the rise of Jessie Bates III’s star, Williams has been largely left out of the rotation. He played in under 100 shots throughout the 2020 season.
Williams may be suspended for the accident if the NFL takes a hard look at it, which they are likely to do, given how the game is going.
