The warning code is in effect from noon on Thursday and continues into the early evening. It concerns the provinces of Zeeland, South Holland, Utrecht, Overijssel, Gelderland, Limburg and North Brabant.
According to KNMI, the thunderstorms are accompanied by winds of about 60 kilometers per hour, hail and heavy rain in a short time: “There is also a chance of thunderstorms on Thursday evening, but this is not confirmed at the moment.”
And the people of Amsterdam should take into account the clouds that will increase from the west during the day Thursday. It is expected that some rain will fall in the western coastal governorates, and it may be accompanied by thunder as well. Heavy rains may be accompanied by hail, heavy rains in a short time, and winds of up to 75 kilometers per hour.
There is also a chance of thunderstorms on Friday, but it will probably be less severe. In the coming days it will be much cooler. Temperatures range between 19 and 21 degrees on Saturday and Sunday.
