Switzerland wins team competition in World Cup test event

The Swiss national team won the Nations Cup at the Test event in Bratone del Vivaro. 23-year-old Swiss Robin Godel also won the singles battle after a clear jump trajectory. Yesterday, after the cross, he actually took the lead with his horse with Grandeur de Lully CH (by Greco de Lully).

France came in second place in the battle of the country and Sweden third. This was the first match of the FEI Championship this year.

The Swiss team also consisted of 20-year-old Nadia Mender, who made his debut on the team. This also applies to 62-year-old Beat Sax, who has been riding events for 45 years but was never allowed to defend his country’s honor before. Olympic cyclist Melody Gunner has wrapped up the Nicholson-trained team that has competed six times in the Olympics. “It was fantastic,” the coach said afterwards. “They’re getting better, more confident, more and more a team.”

2nd place in CCI4*

Ingrid Klimk was ranked second in the singles rankings for the four-star shorts. With Equistros Siena Just Do It (by Semper Fi) she was also evident in the showjumping course and cemented her position. Nicolas Toussaint of France came third alone with Absolut Gold HDC (by Grafenstolz).
