Sonepar Group renews WMS • Warehouse Totaal

In response to the significant growth in e-commerce and customer demand for a seamless digital and physical experience, Sonepar Group is investing in its own WMS.

Consequently, the global leader in the distribution of electrical products, systems, and services is expanding its existing mission of managing active warehouses in Manhattan to support its global transformation into the omnichannel supply chain.

With this launch, Sonepar is building on previous successes with warehouse management solutions in Manhattan at its subsidiaries: Technische Unie and Van Egmond Groep in the Netherlands and Mayflex in the UK. The Manhattan Active Warehouse Management program will be initially rolled out in the Cebeo division of Sonepar in Belgium, with other locations to follow.

“Manhattan’s cloud-native supply chain solutions are innovative and operate on a unique platform that enables us to drive the rapid deployment of modern distribution facilities around the world, support the purchasing journey of our customers and provide them with a comprehensive multi-channel experience,” said Joe Verbeek, Chief Supply Chain Officer at Sonepar.

“We believe expanding the global partnership with Manhattan will help the Sonepar Group become the first global distributor of B2B electrical products.
