It is not surprising that the temperature rises and falls in April. However, these major differences remain unusual within a few days. While the temperature rose to 30 degrees in many places in winter sports countries last Sunday, snow is now falling from the sky again. We wrote about it yesterday in the latest weather report from the Alps. Today we let you enjoy a new layer of snow with a few webcams!

    Another new layer of snow

After the record heat experienced last weekend, a cold front has caused a change in the weather. From the west, a disturbance will pass over winter sports countries, providing a new layer of snow. Today the snow has already begun to fall, especially in the French and Swiss Alps. In height there is another layer up to 30 cm. Rainfall falls in the form of rain in the valleys. From tonight, snow will also begin to fall in Austria, southern Germany, and many high-altitude ski areas in northern Italy. Tomorrow the weather will be very cloudy and snowy in these areas. In total, up to 40 cm of snow can be added at high altitudes!

    Snow on webcams!

The height of the snow line today is about 1200-1500 meters. Tomorrow it may be a little lower in some places. Where is the snow falling now? Take a look through the webcams:
