Russian forces appear to be stationed near the Ukrainian border as tensions flare up

A two-minute clip appears from a leaked “Ready to Fight” video. Russian forces maneuver with tanks near the border with Ukraine as tensions rise between neighboring countries.

The video clip, apparently recorded by Russian soldiers, caught a group of armored vehicles gathering in a muddy field, and then moved to reveal a variety of military trucks loaded on a long-range train, The Sun reported.

A short scene entitled “Military Training” shows a large piece of a crane-like machine behind an iron fence.

The Biden government said this week that the United States may send warships to the Black Sea in the coming weeks to counter the growing Russian military presence on the Ukrainian border.

Russia’s annexation of Ukraine’s Crimea region in 2014 led to the imposition of sanctions from the United States and the European Union fueled conflicts there.

Ukrainian officials say the fighting there has killed 14,000 people.
