Robbie Servais signed a new two-year contract with MVV Maastricht on Tuesday.
Service, who has been a part of the club’s coaching staff for nearly two years, will focus more on the U-23 team and acquire its diploma in coaching in the coming seasons.
The original Maastrichtian thus far combined his MVV Onder-21 coaching position with his role as assistant coach in the first team, having assembled the coaching staff alongside coach Darig Kalisic and other assistant Regiglio Fred. Servais will be working part-time as an assistant coach for the Star Bearers starting next season.
Service is happy that he can now go full-time in MVV Under-21. “It’s great that I devote more attention to that. The upcoming upgrade to the youth academy will make this job more attractive, but supporting the MVV in pursuing a professional soccer coach course is just as important. This is very important to me. A step in my development towards an independent coach in football Professional foot. ”
The MVV will soon reveal its plans for the youth academy, with Ron Ellsson being the driving force.
