The World Economic Forum's annual meeting is being held in Davos this week. A number of members of the royal family also traveled to the Swiss city. In addition to Queen Máxima and Prince Albert of Monaco, Belgian King Philippe and Queen Mathilde were also present at the event. Is it any wonder what the royals had on their schedule there? #1 King Philippe and Queen Mathilde
We start with the Belgian royal couple. Philippe and Mathilde have a busy schedule during the annual event. For example, they attend speeches, are scheduled for a meeting with Bill Gates and participate in dinner. The couple also has a lot of appointments separately.

The Belgian court, for example, said King Philippe was attending sessions on “safe, sustainable and fair energy supplies.” Queen Mathilde, in turn, holds talks with representatives of various countries. She also chairs a roundtable discussion on mental health.

#2 Queen Máxima
It may not have escaped your attention that Queen Máxima also traveled to Switzerland. Immediately after the New Year's reception I boarded a plane to Davos. She is attending the event in her capacity as the UN Secretary-General's Special Advocate for Inclusive Financing for Development. During the meeting, Maxima will discuss progress in digital financial services with representatives of government and development organizations, among others.

#3 Prince Albert of Monaco
Prince Albert of Monaco will also show his face at the World Economic Forum this week. Albert attends a presentation on the role and impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on countries around the world. Particular attention is paid to the Monaco model, which is both safe and responsible. There are also discussions about the growth potential of AI in education, economics, and healthcare.
