Odisha: 70-yr-outdated lady dragging 100-calendar year-old mother on chaarpai to withdraw pension from bank is heartbreaking

A heartwrenching incident surfaced the social media leaving netizens speechless. The movie of a 70-yr-aged aged lady, Punjimati Dei, dragging her 100-yr-old bedridden mom on a Chaarpai (cot) to the closest lender to withdraw pension has stirred havoc on Twitter. 

The incident happened in Odisha’s Naupada district where Punjimati Dei is seen dragging the cot after the lender official allegedly questioned for actual physical verification for Rs 1, 500 pensions.

The mother and the daughter belonged to Bargaon village. Her mother is an account holder below Jan Dhan Yojana of the Central governing administration.

‘Bank stated they will launch pension if I provide my mother’

The woman, Punjimati Dei, spoke about her predicament and said, “I went to the lender numerous instances in past 3 months and asked for the bank official to launch the pension total. Nevertheless, the official informed that they would release the pension if I convey my mom to the branch.”

According to reports, the Financial institution manager Ajit Pradhan allegedly asked Dei to bring her bedridden mom Labhe Baghel to the financial institution.
