There are a lot of movies and series coming up this year. So that you don’t miss a thing, we’ve listed the latest trailers from Netflix and Disney+, among others.
Disney+, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and cinema releases. As a movie buff, you have to pay attention to many platforms these days. Then we are not even talking about the products of foreign broadcasting services whose products are also finding their way to the Netherlands. Also last weekend a lot of trailers came out. So that you don’t miss a thing, we put them on a list.
That one word: Feyenoord – Disney +
Let’s start with the series the Netherlands is probably looking forward to most: the new docu series about Feyenoord. We know that the past year has been very turbulent for Feyenoord. Joy and sadness were closely related. Especially the last one we see in the amazing new trailer on Disney+. We have to wait a little longer, because the production can only be watched on the streaming service as of August 27.
Booking dogs – Disney+?
From Disney + is of course a small step up to Marvel. We have a bit of news about the superhero product, but there is something to announce about the director of Thor: Ragnarok and Thor: Love and Thunder. The trailer for Taika Waititi’s Reservation Dogs movie has been released. This comedy series revolves around a gang of teens in Oklahoma who steal a truck full of chips. The series is coming to Hulu on August 9. Since this falls under Disney management, we wouldn’t be surprised if the show was also on Disney+ soon.
Titans – Netflix
From Marvel we go to DC Comics. HBO Max releases the first short teaser trailer for the third season of Titans. We don’t have this streaming service in the Netherlands, but you can still watch the series. The first two seasons are “only” on Netflix. The show revolves around the Teen Titans from DC Comic and managed to score well with 7.7 on IMDb.
In the humor we see Red Hood, Scarecrouw and of course Gotham. The series arrives on HBO Max on August 12. When we can expect it on Netflix is still unknown.
Sweet Girl – Netflix
Yes, we can also build a beautiful bridge between Sweet Girl and DC and Netflix. Jason Momoa (Aquaman) is coming to Netflix with a powerful action movie. The actor plays Ray Cooper, his wife is dying of cancer. It would have been saved were it not for the fact that the pharmacist is charging too dearly. He and his daughter want revenge. We’ll see how it ends on August 20th on Netflix.
What do we do in the shadows???
Forget good bridges again, because that would be difficult if not impossible for what we do in the shade. Yes, you could say Momoa runs in the shadows. Well, never mind: What We Do in the Shadows is ready for its third season on Hulu and FX, but the entire series has yet to air on Disney+. Which is a shame, because the vampire comedy series scores 8.5 on IMDb. Here we are appealing to Disney: Do the damn thing and get him to Star fast! Season 3 is coming to the US anyway on September 2.
