Lil Wayne will release a deluxe version of his 2018 album Tha Carter v tonight.
Before hitting the streaming services, the playlist was revealed. In addition to the 23 standard tracks, the Deluxe adds 10 songs that didn’t make the original track plus some surprises. New additions include “Life of Mr. Carter”, “Holy”, “Scottie” and “Lost”. There is also collaborations with Raekwon (“More on the Story”) and 2 Chainz (“Siri”).
Three of the previously 10 tracks were released as stand-alone bonus cuts in November 2018 and include “What About Me” with Post Malone, “In This House” featuring Gucci Mane, and Tay Keith’s “Hasta La Vista”.
The original album included collaborations with Travis Scott, Nicki Minaj, XXXTentacion, Snoop Dogg, Ashanti, and more.
Tha Carter v It was released on September 28, 2018, after Wayne’s highly publicized legal battle with Cash Money, and debuted at # 1 on the Billboard 200 with first week sales of 480,000 unit-equivalent albums.
Earlier this week, Young Money boss Mac Maine teased the deluxe edition, arriving on its second anniversary Tha Carter v.
