Holiday park operator Landal GreenParks will expand.
There will be new parks in Wierden and Bergen Op Zoom and one in Great Britain. Landal GreenParks still sees enough room to grow both in the Netherlands and internationally.
Director Dirk Anbek says there is a great demand for holiday accommodations in our country. “Not only from vacationers looking for nature and space, but also from private investors who want to invest in leisure real estate with fixed value.” Anbeek expects this trend to continue for the time being.
Recreational homes
In Landal Sallandse Heuvelrug near Wierden, 110 new holiday homes will be built, in addition to 25 existing holiday homes. The latter will be rented out in July. Landal De Brabantse Wal near Bergen op Zoom has 105 holiday homes and 46 lodges. Landal doesn’t indicate exactly when they’ll be ready.
Rockingham Forest will be the ninth destination of the Landal GreenParks in Great Britain. There will be 56 luxury lodges in a wooded area. It is likely that the first guests will already be received at the end of May. The entire park is expected to be available for rent in the spring of 2022. The construction costs for all the new homes have not been disclosed.
100 positions
Landal GreenParks has more than 100 parks in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Great Britain, Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic and Hungary. It comes to over 14,000 holiday accommodations and 1,300 campgrounds.
