Hof Castleman, headquartered in Hagen, Germany, has expanded into the United States. The team was expanded with Jennifer and Jürgen Hoffmann. The couple will focus on training, showing, buying and selling horses in the United States.
The Hoffmanns had a friendly and business relationship with the Castleman family for many years. Jennifer is scheduled to be based in Wellington for next season, while her husband will travel back and forth between the United States and Germany. He is scheduled to return to Germany in the summer season.
“Jennifer and Jürgen Hoffmann are experienced riders with a wealth of experience and success in both the United States and Germany. In recent years, they have focused their hearts and souls on the sport of dressage and have had a positive impact on the sport of dressage both in the United States and abroad,” says François Casselmann.
Jennifer grew up in California, but achieved most of her success on European soil. She won the German Professional Championship and won several medals in the Bundesliga. She has represented America in a number of Nations Cup events and competed six times in the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses. Her husband has trained many horses to Grand Prix level and is an important trainer and jury member.
