    The son of a federal decide was shot and killed Sunday night time whilst answering the door at the family’s house in North Brunswick, New Jersey, a regulation enforcement resource instructed CBS Information. The judge’s spouse was also shot, according to legislation enforcement resources.

    The gunman allegedly fled.

    A resource explained to CBS News that U.S. District Decide Esther Salas is believed to be unharmed. Salas’ spouse, Mark Anderl, is a prison defense attorney and former Essex County prosecutor.

    The FBI is investigating the taking pictures and is presently hunting for just one suspect. The FBI is top the investigation, performing with U.S. Marshals and state and community authorities.

    In accordance to The Related Press, authorities believe that the gunman posed as a supply driver.

    New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy tweeted that “Decide Salas and her family are in our feelings at this time as they cope with this senseless act.”

    Salas is a district choose for the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. She is acknowledged for presiding around the scenario of “The Genuine Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice and her spouse, Joe Giudice. The two pleaded guilty to fraud fees in 2014. Teresa was sentenced to 15 months in prison while Joe was hit with a 41-month sentence.
