Google lets celebrities answer questions themselves on Google search

Google lets celebrities answer questions themselves on Google search

Michael McCann, January 15, 2024

Celebrity answers

Google knows everything, including the questions we type into the search bar every day or speak into the microphone. There are a lot of questions about celebrities and this seems to have given Google an idea. Now when you ask a question about a celebrity on Google on your mobile phone, you get the answer in the form of a video of that celebrity.

Google included answers from Priyanka Chopra, Will Ferrell, Tracee Ellis Ross, Gina Rodriguez, Kenan Thompson, Allison Williams, Nick Jonas, Mark Wahlberg, James Franco, Seth MacFarlane, Jonathan Yu, and Dominic Ansel. Not everyone will ring a bell right away, but we definitely know a number of the stars.

If you ask a question about any of the celebrities above, you'll get a list of the most frequently asked questions and their answers in a video. So when you ask the question “Can Ferrell really play the drums?” Enter or speak up, and a video will appear of Will Fell himself telling you in a selfie-style video whether or not this is actually the case.

Availability

You can stop searching on Google because this function only works (so far) in the United States. It's a cute and funny initiative but definitely not a one-off. In the blog post, Google says this is part of a larger plan that will be rolled out later. So we can expect more great things from the search giant in this field.

Maybe he will also come to the Netherlands or Belgium one day. Then we can answer the question “Who wears the beano suit?” Or “Are Marco Borsato's curls real?” or “How's Urbanus?” In the form of a video profile of Dutch or Belgian celebrities.
