The European Union will organize training courses as soon as possible to train up to 15,000 Ukrainian soldiers. The German magazine reported that member states decided on this after consultation on Monday from the mirror Based on EU sources.

Under the plan, Poland will receive funds from the European Union in order to become a “headquarters” for the training. Some Ukrainians will be trained in other countries. The final details of the training program will be discussed in Brussels next week.

Germany plans to offer troop training in a combat simulation center. The state will also train Ukrainian engineers, nurses and other specialists. Already in August, Chancellor Olaf Schultz had indicated his willingness to train Ukrainian soldiers. Denmark previously supported a training program for 130 soldiers overseen by the British.

The United Kingdom, which is no longer a member of the European Union, has been training Ukrainian soldiers for some time. In mid-July, thousands of Ukrainian soldiers began a short basic training in England. With the knowledge that volunteers gain, they should be able to fight the Russian army.
