Dollar Du Roy was injured by sports, and continues as a breeding horse

About two months ago, senior Belgian rider Gregory Wathelet got the talented French stallion Dollar de Ruet to ride. He debuted with the now nine-year-old stallion in Vilamoura, but then Chaco Bleu’s son got injured. The owners have now decided to use the Dollar du Rouet for breeding only. The stallion remained in Belgium.

Dollar du Rouet (Chacco Blue x Quaprice Bois Margot) is the grandson of the full sister of Olympic champion Baloubet du Rouet. Led by Gilles Button, he has been at the forefront of the sport and had an amazing season, especially at the age of six. Having been at the age of seven and eight, he returned to the sport last year where he once again showed a lot of areas. In November, the stallion entered the Wathelet stables, but this did not last long due to injury.

The son of the hero in France

In the process of breeding, Dollar du Rouet is starting to make a name for itself. His son Junesco de Riverland became a two-year-old French show jumping champion and was sold to Switzerland for 93,000 euros. Dollar will remain in Belgium for next season, and will likely return to France after that.
