Director Jean-Luc Godard has passed away

French-Swiss film director Jean-Luc Godard, one of the leaders of La Nouvelle Vague, has died at the age of 91.

A representative of the Godard family said that the director was euthanized in Switzerland. He suffered from several health problems. Under certain conditions, euthanasia is permitted in Switzerland.
