In “Sergio Over De Grens”, Sergio Hermann heads to the Swiss mountains this week with Bazart's Mathieu Therrien. There they taste traditional cuisine, but are also offered edible stones, learn how to make their own cheese, and there is time for winter fun and ice fishing.
Matthew Therrien takes star chef Sergio Hermann on a journey through his beloved Switzerland. Not only did he discover his love of skiing there, but he also met his wife there when they were eight years old. “We were in skating class together and sent each other emails,” the singer says. 'while I promoted and now we are married.
Cheese and stones
Although of course the two men are there to sample the local cuisine. Whoever says Switzerland says cheese. It's time for Sergio and Matteo to learn how to make cheese themselves! Their teacher Floh is a famous cheese maker and is clearly a professional. Although he's definitely not a fan of gossip in his kitchen.
When Sergio asks if he can ask Floh a question, he answers succinctly: No. Even when Mateo and Sergio are talking, their teacher intervenes. 'stop talking. for work!
Clearly, the Swiss take cheese seriously! But this is by no means the only delicacy that ends up on their plates. In addition to some traditional dishes, Matteo and Sergio are also served stones. This is the first time for star chef Sergio.
Fortunately, there's also time to relax afterwards: the guys go skiing, snowboarding and ice fishing. Although skating doesn't seem to suit Sergio.
