Centrally located between The Hague and Leiden, Westfield Mall of the Netherlands is the perfect location for the first Dutch branch of The Avocado Show outside Amsterdam.
Designed in collaboration with their permanent creative team at Aces of Space, this new edition of The Avocado Show, with 80 seats and an area of 190 square metres, features a colorful courtyard. Guests are seated under natural light and surrounded by plenty of green and pink accents; Known setting for avocado display. There, original dishes, in their own distinct style, are served for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Think of the world-famous poke bowl, stacked pancakes, mashed avocado burgers and even cocktails, where avocado seeds are used as ice cubes.
Julian Zaal, Co-Founder and CEO of The Avocado Show: “Westfield Mall of the Netherlands is a unique setting for such a flagship location and a great start for our new shopping center model. We see a lot of opportunity and growth in locations where restaurants and hospitality are complementing other businesses. We want to lead the way in this development. We believe it is important to continue to innovate during our international rollout and offer something new in every form.Innovation and expansion are of course attracting more fans of our brand so we are really looking forward to taking this step outside of Amsterdam.
global mall culture
Co-Founder Ron Simpson: “In the future we would like to expand our avocado offering to all over the world. But in the US, Asia and the Middle East, there is the culture of malls, of which hospitality is a big part. In order to be able to participate and grow in this, we chose to develop our concept further New in this mall concept are the neon accents and the open floor plan, specially designed to create an accessible atmosphere.Exterior and interior become one in this.
The avocado show in Westfield Mall, Netherlands became a veritable catwalk with the now recognizable icons: a pink design sofa in front of the well-known green plant wall, neon lighting and color cubes; It’s all here, but bigger and better. Simone Pullens of Aces of Space: “The various seating options, each with their own character, ensure you always experience the space, dishes and merchandise in a new and surprising way. Thus, the interior design is an extension of The Avocado Show brand.
After the original restaurant for The Avocado Show and a variant to go, the new mall model is the third format in its five-year existence launched by the founders. Since then, the avocado offering has become a global phenomenon known for beautiful healthy food: beautiful and delicious dishes, made with sustainable avocados. Branches opened in London and Madrid last year, a second location will follow in Brussels in March, and later this year residents of Stuttgart and Paris will also be able to get their avocados there. A total of 21 other franchise sites have been signed. More information here.
