Online shopping and technology group Amazon wants to provide logistical assistance to the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. CEO Andy Gacy said on Twitter that the US company is also supporting the Ukrainian government and companies in the field of cybersecurity. The company has already said it will donate $10 million to humanitarian work in the country.

Gacy writes that the situation in Ukraine is very worrying and is getting worse every day. He says Amazon stands by the Ukrainian people. Amazon does not have direct activities in Ukraine, but it does have a large global logistics network that can be used to deliver relief supplies to the country. The company says it is already helping to take in Ukrainian refugees, for example by launching staff in Poland to help people.

In addition, Amazon has put special features on its websites in the US, UK and Germany that allow customers to donate to Ukraine.
