Vincent Pestin succeeded again in the United States

    Sunday October 3, 2021 at 09:25

Vincent Paystin claimed his third win of the still early cyclocross season. The Team Deschacht-Group-Hens-Maes container rider was the best at Charm City Cross in Baltimore, USA.

After nearly an hour of racing and a sensational battle, the Bastians defeated two Americans: Keri Werner and Stephen Hyde. In fourth place we find Christopher Blevins, who is especially popular as a mountain biker. Blevins crowned himself this year as the world’s first short-track champion and last month won the Cross Country World Cup in Snowshoe, ahead of Ondřej Cink and Nino Schurter, among others.

Thus, this is his third victory of the season for Bestein. At the end of September, he already won two cycling races in Rochester. He started his new cyclo-cross campaign with eighth place in the Ethias Cross of Lokeren and then also finished second in the French C2 cyclo-cross behind Joshua Dubau.

    Honsinger wins in the women’s
The women’s win in Baltimore went to Clara Hunsinger. The American champion, who climbed to the absolute top of the world last winter, was more than a minute ahead of French veteran Caroline Mane. With 20-year-old Katie Close, there was another American on the podium.
