The artificial intelligence evaluated the European Championship players based on their attractiveness. The taste for artificial intelligence is not prevalent.
What would happen if you asked an AI to rate all the players in a European soccer tournament based on their attractiveness? Very amazing rating – probably many stars! According to the British newspaper “The Sun”, the artificial intelligence chose the most beautiful individual players and the most beautiful teams on average. At least one German footballer had something to be happy about.
Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz (21 years old) reached tenth place, thus just reaching the top ten. Italians Gianluca Scamaca (25 years old) and Nicolo Fagioli (23 years old) occupied seventh place, followed by Dutchman Memphis Depay (30 years old), and sixth place went to Ukrainian Oleksandr Timchik (27 years old).
Fifth place is in the hands of the Austrians – thanks to centre-back Flavius Danyliuk, 23 years old. In front of him he saw Serbian AI Strahinja Pavlovic, 23 years old. The bronze went to Spaniard Fabian Ruiz, 28 years old, while the pole went to Taras Romanchuk, 32 years old. He won silver and first place? It was not the superstars Cristiano Ronaldo, 39, Jude Bellingham, 20, nor Antoine Griezmann, 33, but Turkish Mert Muldur, 25.
It is also surprising when comparing countries
Looking at the team as a whole, the AI also made a surprising choice. According to The Sun, Serbia emerged as the winner against Italy and Turkey. However, there was disappointment among the DFB players: Germany had the third-worst points total and finished only ahead of France and Switzerland, who should carry the red lantern.
Fortunately, at the European Championships, it's not about looks, it's about what happens on the pitch – and the German national team have so far produced a particularly attractive style of play. The first two matches against Scotland and Hungary were won 5-1 and 2-0, securing a place in the round of 16. The match against Switzerland on Sunday evening (9:00pm, Das Erst) is all about top spot in the group.
