UFC 272 | Incredibly hard blow, Saturday’s UFC PPV loses the co-main event

It’s an incredible blow to the PPV card that the UFC put out on Saturday. The title fight event was further enhanced by the late addition of the match between Rafael dos Anjos and Rafael Viziev.

The news was announced during Ariel Halawani’s “MMA Hour”. The Canadian journalist spoke to Rafael dos Anjos there, who said he had heard rumors that Vyzyev would not be able to fight. Then Halawani received a text message from Viziev’s manager, who was watching the show. Viziev arrived in the United States in good health on Friday. When he woke up on Saturday, he was sick and it turned out he had COVID-19. The UFC is actively looking for a replacement for Fiziev.

This week we are back at Eurosport and discovery+ with the UFC 272 PPV event. Next, former friends and current foes Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal will compete in one of the greatest titleless fights in UFC history. Sunday morning introductory show starts at 03:00 AM on Eurosport and is presented by Naseem Al Ahmadi. Analysts Marloes Coenen and Gilbert Yvel are also present.
