Tidbyt – smart screen with a futuristic style
The pictorial device called Tidbyt was designed by two New York electronics enthusiasts and will delight fans of futuristic retro. This is a smart screen with a resolution of 64 x 32 pixels, in which various mobile applications can display information.
With the help of Tidbyt, the user can monitor weather, transfer schedules, stock prices, receive reminders of upcoming events and incoming message notifications. It is possible to write your own applications in Python. There is an API and SDK for that.
The device is based on an ESP32 microcontroller with a 32-bit Tensilica Xtensa LX6 dual core processor. The device includes Bluetooth LE interfaces (used for initial setup) and Wi-Fi 802.11n.
