HEERHUGOWAARD – Breedweer Facilitaire Diensten from Heerhugowaard is the first cleaning company in the Netherlands to have a CO2 performance ladder of 5. This shows that the company takes CO2 emissions seriously. Commercial Director Jacques Stoijbergen: “We would like to play a pioneering role and aim not only to reduce CO2 emissions in our bodies, but in the entire chain.”

    CO2 reduction throughout the chain
The CO2 Performance Ladder is a Dutch sustainability tool that helps companies and governments reduce CO2 and costs. Breedweer has already achieved Level 3 of the CO2 Performance Ladder in 2022 and is now also the proud owner of Level 5. Jack Stoebergen: “We use the slogan ‘Don’t talk about it, make an impact’, which you can also translate to ‘Don’t talk about it; Make an impact” “Don't talk about it, but reduce CO2”. Making things more sustainable is a must and it's also an absolute challenge. We want to go a step further than all the other cleaning companies. This means we don't just aim to Reducing our own emissions (Scope 1 and 3), but also reducing the entire chain (Scope 3).”

    Knowledge exchange
Jack points out that they are happy to share knowledge to encourage other companies to recognize their CO2 emissions and reduce them as much as possible. “Choose Breedweer as a partner and take action with us for a sustainable society. In other words, don't gossip, reduce CO2.
