Tesla has announced that it is recalling more than 53,000 “fully self-driving” cars due to a programming error.

And the American network “CNN” stated that this recall of Tesla cars includes models “S”, “X”, “3” and “Y”, which were produced within the “full self-driving” program, a program that has sparked controversy, due to the presence of A service intended to allow the car to drive itself fully one day.

Although these cars made progress in terms of complying with traffic rules, they failed in some cases, according to the testimonies of drivers, who said that it takes a vigilant driver to intervene to control the car at the wrong time.

Tesla said drivers do not need to return their cars for servicing, and said it will release an updated version of its “fully self-driving” program online later in February.

“The Vehicle Safety Act prohibits manufacturers from selling vehicles with defects that pose unreasonable safety risks, including intentional unsafe design choices,” the department said in a statement. If information shows the potential for safety risks

She confirmed that she would act immediately based on the foregoing.

The recall includes cars with a rolling stop feature, and this feature only works in the presence of certain conditions, such as a clear view of the place and so on.
