(Belga) Anyone in Switzerland who can persuade friends, colleagues or relatives to vaccinate against the coronavirus must in the future receive a voucher worth 50 Swiss francs (46 euros). This was announced today by the Minister of Health, Alain Berset.

The voucher can be used in a restaurant or when visiting the cinema. To receive the voucher, it is enough to provide the name of the person who convinced you at the time of vaccination. The cantons can still express their opinion on the idea. The final decision will be made in mid-October. In Switzerland, according to official data, only 58.46 percent of the population has been fully vaccinated. It’s too little to drop some procedures like wearing a mouth mask, Berset said. He added that the government wants to establish an additional 50 mobile vaccination centers. In addition, from October 11, coronavirus tests will be free only for children, young people up to 16 years of age and people who have already been vaccinated once. (Belgium)
