The severe storm also affected Germany and Scandinavia. A 33-year-old woman died after a tree fell on her car in northern Germany. German radio reported this NDR.
There was severe damage in Danish coastal areas, especially on Jutland, where water levels rose by more than two meters in some places. Thousands of families in the affected areas were left without electricity.
