New forecasts – pctipp.ch

New forecasts – pctipp.ch

Theodore Meeks, April 10, 2024

Microsoft has completely overhauled its popular email and organization program, Outlook. We'll show you step-by-step how to get the new version up and running and optimally adapt it to suit your needs.

Microsoft is currently luring Outlook users with the words: “Try the new Outlook.” However, what can be activated with a single click is quite complex – especially if you manage multiple email accounts in Outlook. We don't let that hold us back and will show you the conversion process step by step. And let's get straight to the point: There are some things we really like about the “new” forecast. In particular, the different setup options are very easy to find and are organized and structured in a very understandable way. This allows you to perfectly adapt Outlook to your needs and habits.

Little has changed in the user interface when it comes to email and calendar, so you can get to work right away without any hassle. Additional “To Do” task management is seamlessly integrated into the “My Day” view, resulting in a better overview and greater efficiency in daily life.

However, be careful: the transition to the new Outlook is not going smoothly at the moment. You should give yourself about two hours to do this and make sure you have all your usernames and passwords available.

important note: When you switch to the new Outlook, many settings such as signatures or QuickSteps are not automatically applied. But this should not be an obstacle to testing the new interface: you can return to the old version at any time.
