If you enjoy surfing the web and visiting sites like IceCasino.com with your iPhone, you will soon be able to do so with the third and final member of the SE series. Apple recently unveiled the iPhone SE 3, and we have a good idea of what to expect from this phone. In this article, we’ll tell you everything you need to know about the new iPhone SE 3: if you’re planning to buy this new model, the following information is for you.

    Design Choice

The iPhone SE 3 is available in three color options: red (Product Red), white (Starlight), and black (Midnight). You might mistake it for an iPhone 8 at first glance, but that’s normal, as the phone uses the same chassis as the original iPhone 8. This is not surprising, as the SE launched in 2020 used the same chassis too. Apple does not make any changes in terms of design in the SE series. The dimensions of the first SE were 138.4 x 67.3 x 7.3 mm, and the dimensions of the SE 3 are exactly the same. From the outside, you can’t see any difference between the SE 3 and the other SE models (and the iPhone 8). This includes the home button.

Most people thought that Apple would get rid of the home button in this model, but Apple does not seem to have made any design changes. The most important reason for this is the Mini series. If a design without physical buttons was used in the SE 3, there would be no difference between the SE 3 and the iPhone 13 Mini, except for the screen size. Indeed, these two models are the same in terms of hardware but differ from each other in terms of camera and screen features. Apple is not interested in creating a competitor for the 13 Mini: instead, it prefers updating the hardware without changing the design at all. This is not a temporary situation that will change with the next product in line: as long as the Mini series exists, you should not expect a design change in the SE series.

Keeping the design the same can be an advantage or a disadvantage: it depends on how much you like the home button. There is a user base who really likes and finds a physical button useful, and the SE 3 may be their favorite model. For those who find this button unnecessary, there is already a Mini 13 model. In short, Apple manages to appeal to every type of user.

    Hardware Power

If you’re disappointed that the SE 3’s design hasn’t changed, we’re sure the hardware changes will lift your spirits. Because inside this small chassis lies a real monster. The SE 3 has practically the same hardware as the iPhone 13. It uses the A15 Bionic chip, which, as it is known, consists of a 6-core CPU and a 4-core GPU. Currently, this is the most powerful processor in the iPhone series, and you can use the same in the SE 3. Moreover, due to the lower resolution, we can say that this processor will work much more efficiently in SE 3.

Speaking of resolution, this is the primary difference between the iPhone 13 and the SE 3. The iPhone 13 uses a 6.1-inch screen with 800 nits brightness and Super Retina XDR OLED, HDR10, Dolby Vision features. The resolution of this screen is 1170 x 2532 pixels (460 PPI). The SE 3, on the other hand, has a 4.7 inch, 625 nits IPS panel. The resolution of this screen is 1334 x 750 pixels (326 PPI). If you lower the resolution, the hardware will struggle less. Changing the screen brightness and type will extend the battery life. The SE 3 may not look as majestic as the iPhone 13, but it will likely outperform in terms of performance and battery life.

Another important difference between the two models is the camera type and quality. iPhone 13 has cameras with 12 MP, f/1.6, dual pixel PDAF, and sensor-shift OIS. The SE 3, on the other hand, uses only a single camera with 12 MP, f/1.8, PDAF, and OIS. Of course, the iPhone 13 will allow you to take better photos and videos, but the SE 3 uses the same camera as the iPhone 8, so it is still satisfactory for the majority of the user base.

As a matter of fact, there is no significant difference between the two models other than the camera, screen, and phone size, and since the SE 3 will be sold much cheaper, these differences will be pretty easy to ignore. Moreover, this model also supports 5G: This was a feature that was only available on the iPhone 12 and 13 series. If you want to have a “nearly identical” phone to the iPhone 13 without spending a fortune, the SE 3 is for you.
