A tanker truck has exploded on a highway in southeastern China, killing 18 people and injuring at minimum 189 other folks, authorities mentioned on Sunday, June 14. 

The tanker exploded in close proximity to a village in the Wenling segment of the Shenyang-Haikou Expressway on Saturday night, Xinhua information company.
