There’s a change coming to Gmail. Here we show the popular view that will soon be phased out.
Google has announced that Gmail’s regular HTML view will be retired in January 2024. After this date, Gmail will automatically switch to the default view. This is what “Kashi Blog” reported.
If your browser is supported (which it likely is), Gmail will automatically open in the default view. In the Standard view, users can take advantage of the latest Gmail features and security features.

If you want to continue using the old HTML view, which is especially popular in areas with very poor network coverage, you can still do so via a detour, as Google offers a special view of Gmail for unsupported browsers.
However, functions such as chat, spell checking, adding contacts or formatting texts are missing. Simple desktop view is available here.
