Google Pixel phone users have posted bugs on the dedicated community, on Reddit, and on forums since the update to Android 12. According to the official Google support forum, Pixel phone users are experiencing issues with apps crashing, phone jams between calls, and battery drain suddenly. It also happens that the biometric authentication sensors are not working. Moreover, reboots and even factory resets do not help in resolving these shortcomings.
A Pixel 4XL user, for example, writes on the Google support page that their phone no longer has face unlock, and that the screen turns black when making calls. Other users are complaining about not being able to use the camera which only shows a black image. Most bugs in Android 12 seem to be camera related. Google claims that these crashes are related to compatibility issues.
