    A huge fire has damaged out at a plastics manufacturing facility in Birmingham, sending “harmful fumes” into the air and large columns of smoke that could be found from miles away.

    Hearth chiefs reported the blaze would past into the night as much more than 100 firefighters tackled it.

    People today throughout the town saw thick, black plumes of smoke growing from the web site.

    Ambulance crews also rushed to the scene at Tyseley Industrial Estate, but there are no reports however of any casualties.

    The West Midlands Fire Assistance, which said it experienced gained substantial figures of phone calls, despatched 10 appliances plus specialist appliances.


    Police warned of dangerous fumes, and fireplace chiefs recommended people to keep doorways and windows closed, in spite of the heatwave.
