On Saturday, a battle erupted on Twitter after Craer, 55, shared a series of tweets criticizing the 38-year-old Republican congressman and announcing that he was in favor of Gates’ Democratic opponent, Phil Eyre.

Craer wrote: “Rep. Mattgaetz called a white supremacist to the State of the Union, attempted to intimidate a federal witness, and endorsed a social fanatic who praised the immigrant deaths in Congress.”

But Craer – who has starred in all 12 seasons of the CBS sitcom – didn’t hold back, in response to Gaetz, “Is that why, after leaving, he went on for another 4 years and won an Emmy Award for Best Actor in a Comedy?”

Gates “What is an Emmy? It’s an award that Hollywood gives itself? She won the election” Reply again.

In a follow-up tweet, Crayer explained that his refutation of Gaetz was “not intended to be a quick hit on Charlie.”

He said of the 55-year-old Shane: “He was the star of the show without a doubt. And a great actor. Despite his problems, we had a lot more successes than lows. But you can’t say that he“ made ”a show that lasted four years without him.

And FWIW, that didn’t mean to be a quick hit on Charlie.

He was without a doubt the star of the show. And a wonderful actor. Despite his problems, we had a lot more wins than lows.

But you can’t say that he “made” a show that lasted four years without him.

Two and a half men, Which premiered in 2003, starred Kreer and Shane as brothers Alan and Charlie, respectively. In January 2011, the show was discontinued when Shane entered rehab.

Shortly thereafter, Sheen is badly fired after a public breakdown that included insulting creator Chuck Lowry. The following season, Shane’s character is killed and replaced by Ashton Kutcher, who plays billionaire businessman and posthumous Charlie home buyer.

The show wrapped up in 2015.

Craer won two Primetime Emmy Awards (2009 and 2012) for his role in the show. Sheen was nominated four times in a row for an Emmy Award (from 2006 to 2009) but did not win it.
