New study shows long-term damage caused by coronavirus

A new study has revealed how the coronavirus patients in Wuhan still have debilitating lung damage three months after being released from hospital.

Those involved in the Wuhan University study reported a lack of energy, while around 50 percent were seen to be suffering with symptoms of depression.

Yesterday, the Department of Health has revealed 49 more people have died from coronavirus in all settings in the past 24 hours.

This is the second lowest Thursday death toll since lockdown began, but a rise of 11 on last Thursday’s number.

University freshers are barred from having one night stands under new coronavirus guidelines – with flouters facing huge fines.

New undergraduates at Bristol University have been warned against having overnight visitors and hosting parties in their campus accommodation.

From tomorrow, Brits returning from Belgium, the Bahamas and Andorra will have to self isolate for 14 days under new quarantine rules.

Face coverings will become compulsory in a range of new settings as new government regulations come into force tomorrow.

Masks have been mandatory in shops since July 24 and are required to travel on public transport.
