Drivers of 12 British railways will go on strike at the end of November. According to the union of train drivers, this is considered a “last resort” in a heated dispute with employers.

The operators will start operating on November 26. In recent months, train drivers have repeatedly called for higher wages, which they are demanding due to rising inflation. “We regret that passengers will be disturbed for another day,” the union said in a statement.

The strike will involve train drivers who work, among other things, for train services in and around London and companies that provide public transport between different parts of the UK.

Train passengers in Great Britain also had to deal with serious disruptions at the beginning of October. At that time, due to the railway workers’ strikes, only one in five trains was running according to schedule. About 40,000 members of the RMT union have resigned from the British railway company Network Rail.

The railway sector has led a wave of industrial activity in Britain in recent months. The strikes come at a time when workers in all sectors are facing soaring energy prices, rising interest rates, and rising food costs.

For this reason, the nurses announced Wednesday that they will strike before the end of the year. According to the union, this is the biggest move in his 106-year existence. It is not yet known exactly what the strikes will look like, but according to the union, emergency care will not be in jeopardy.

Charity workers in the UK are also planning to go on strike due to the rising cost of living. This is a two-week strike in December. According to the union, five hundred employees of an organization that helps the homeless will then put down their work, among other things.
