Queen Maxima has landed at San Francisco airport on a working visit to the United States. In fact, King Willem Alexander was also going to California and Texas, but due to pneumonia, he was not allowed to fly. So he canceled the trip on Thursday on medical advice.
The Government Information Service has stated that taking a flight by plane can impede full recovery from pneumonia. The trip continues until September 9.
