Peter Sagan’s season hasn’t been in a while. The Slovakian has suffered from COVID-19, which means he can hardly lead competitions during the spring. Now he’s back slowly, with GP Canton Aargau in Switzerland last Friday and a gravel race in the US last week.

Peter Sagan recently spent nearly four weeks in Utah, North America, at a training camp. Last week, he competed in Unbound, the largest clay court competition in the world, alongside Daniel Oss. “I had an incredible amount of fun there,” he said. La Gazzetta dello Sport† “There were a lot of fans and I want to play at least two claycourt matches each year in the future.”

Sagan also shared his Unbound experiences on Instagram: “Despite the rain, it was a great day. It gave me the opportunity to meet a lot of interesting people. Sooner or later I will be back.”

The former three-time world champion will start on Sunday in the Tour of Switzerland. A very tough stage race that must prepare him for the Tour de France.
