    4:15 pm | Netherlands – Germany preview
The Dutch national team will meet Germany tomorrow at the Johan Cruyff Arena. Of all the (formerly) Ajacs, Edwin van der Sar and Ronald Koeman have played the most international matches (six matches each) against the Germans. Most of the goals against the neighboring country came from Patrick Kluivert, Marco van Basten and again Ronald Koeman. They all made two.

From the current selection of the Dutch national team, Daley Blind has played four times against Germany before. Of those, he won two, lost one and finished one hesitant match. Stephen Burgess was the pick twice during a match against the Germans, but remained on the bench. For Davy Claassen, this will be the first time against Germany.

12:55 PM | Dali and Christian
After the international friendly match between the Netherlands and Denmark, there was a beautiful meeting between friends and former colleagues Daly Blind and Christian Eriksen.

    09:10 | rewind
Week two of this international match got off to a great start with Edson Alvarez winning with a header for Mexico. Also in the first week a lot of beautiful and sometimes wonderful things happened. Take, for example, the dream comeback of Christian Eriksen in the training match (Saturday) against the Dutch national team at his familiar Johan Cruyff Arena. The Orange’s 4-2 win was one of the highlights of the first week. National team coach Louis van Gaal gave Daley Blind and Stephen Berguis (pictured) a full 90 minutes.

08:15 am | Alvarez leads Mexico to an important victory
Edson Alvarez led Mexico to a World Cup qualifier win against Honduras last night: 0-1. The Ajax player scored midway through the second half and made sure that the Mexicans would not miss their coveted World Cup ticket. The midfielder played the entire match at the Stadio Olimpico Metropolitano.

Alvarez and his co-stars need an extra point to secure their participation in the final tournament in Qatar. Mexico plays a home game against El Salvador on Wednesday evening to Thursday evening (Netherlands time). Alvarez scored his third goal for his country last night. He played his 55th international match.
