VideosGermany beat Israel in a friendly match. At Sinsheim, the home of the Bundesliga club Hoffenheim, it was 2-0 to form national coach “Hansi” Flick. Germany will play the Netherlands in Amsterdam on Tuesday.

Kai Havertz put the Germans ahead. His Chelsea teammate Timo Werner made it 2-0 before the break. Thomas Muller missed a penalty in the last stage. In extra time, Yonatan Cohen also missed from a distance of 11 meters on the other side.

Feyenoord’s player Ofir Marciano was against Israel.

    Belgium did not pass Ireland

The Red Devils were no more than 2-2 in a friendly match in Dublin against Ireland. Ireland’s Alan Brown scored the equalizer five minutes from time. Belgium entered Dublin without players who have played more than fifty international matches to their name, such as Thibaut Courtois and Kevin De Bruyne. National team coach Roberto Martinez has chosen to use the two exhibition matches – the Belgians play Burkina Faso on Tuesday – to test some other players.

The Spanish coach also indicated that he did not find the first place in the world rankings sacred. Only with a win can Belgium maintain their lead after a string of lower results.

After 12 minutes, Michy Batshuayi gave Belgium the lead with a shot from the left. In the 35th minute, it was equalized after an effective bicycle kick from Nigerian-born Chiduzi Ogbeni.

An hour later, the Belgians again took the lead. Hans Vanaken headed from a corner kick by Thorgan Hazard. Martínez made several changes and allowed Uriel Mangala (VfB Stuttgart) to make his debut. Shortly before time was up, the equaliser came when Brown headed past goalkeeper Simon Mignolet after an Ogbeni cross.

    Kane helps England beat Switzerland

Harry Kane’s penalty kick helped England win 2-1 over Switzerland on Saturday. Both countries will participate in the World Cup finals this fall and practice at Wembley.

The Swiss took the lead in the 22nd minute. Brill Ambolo’s header came from a cross from Xherdan Shaqiri. Shortly before the end of the first half, the English tied the score again. Defender Luke Shaw hit the ball past goalkeeper Jonas Umlin from the edge of the penalty area.

At the famous Wembley Stadium, it took until the 78th minute for England to take the lead. After consulting the VAR, referee Andreas Ekberg punished a handball from Swiss substitute Stephen Zuber with a penalty kick. Kane got behind the ball and hit it: 2-1.

    Spain

Spain won its first friendly match with the goal of the World Cup next fall against Albania. At the Espanyol stadium, substitute Dani Olmo decided the match in the 90th minute: 2-1.

Luis Enrique’s side almost constantly held the ball, but they managed to score just fifteen minutes before the end. Ferran Torres passed Albanian goalkeeper Etrit Berisha, after a pass from Jeremi Pino who had entered just before. Thus, it seemed victory in the meantime, but 5 minutes before the end, Albania equalized through Mirto Uzzoni, who plays for Granada in the Spanish League. RB Leipzig midfielder Olmo grabbed the win with a superb shot at the crossover. Spain will play a second exhibition match on Tuesday. Then Iceland is the opponent.
