Magny vs. Added Griffin to UFC Columbus

Magny is one of the most recognizable faces in the UFC welterweight division. The American entered the UFC during the 16th season of The Ultimate Fighter in 2013. Magny was eliminated from that tournament in the semifinals but was still signed with the UFC. In nine years, Magney has fought no fewer than 25 fights for the UFC. Magni won eighteen of those. The likes of Kelvin Gastelum, Johnny Hendrix, Robbie Lawler and Carlos Condit all failed to take on the cardio machine. Magney won his last match in May of last year by defeating Jeff Neil by unanimous decision.

Opponent Max Griffin has been fighting for the UFC since 2016. The American had a very difficult start within the UFC. Griffin has won only three of his first nine matches. However, there were controversial losses against both Thiago Alves and Alex Oliveira. However, the UFC continued to believe in Griffin and offered him a new contract. This seems to be more than just paying off so far. Griffin has won his last three games. In his last fight, he won by unanimous decision against former interim champion Carlos Condit.
