7 out of 10 employees say they are proud of the job they do and the work they do at least once a week. This can be explained, among other things, by the employees’ association with their job, their environment, and the organization. This makes us better than France, Germany and the UK. The Dutch are more proud, with 77.3% of employees taking pride in their work each week.
The same trend continues with the question of whether employees find their work useful and useful. Just over one in five Belgian employees report finding it on a daily basis. 7 out of 10 Belgians think this is weekly or more.

Although the results of the job satisfaction survey are positive, there are also aspects that Belgian employers should be wary of. For example, Belgians score slightly below average when it comes to the energy they have in the workplace. 55 percent say they feel energized at least once a week, because only 8 percent say that is the case every day.
This trend is also reflected in the figures regarding the degree of stress in the workplace. 41 percent of Belgian white collar workers experience their work as mentally demanding on a weekly basis. This is the case for 8 percent on a daily basis. In this regard, we Belgians get the lowest score compared to our neighboring countries. For 27 percent, work is also physically exhausting on a weekly basis. 7 percent come home physically tired each day. Here too, Belgian employees, albeit by a small percentage, are higher than the average of the five European countries in the survey. France scored just a little less than Belgium.
2 out of 3 experience their passion job every week
However, it is positive to note that almost 2 out of 3 Belgians (63%) do their work with passion every week. Thus the Belgian employees are in second place, and they have to make way for the neighboring country Holland. We are ahead of other neighboring countries such as Germany, UK and France.
