Half a million souls
500,000 people live on the streets in the United States. These people are homeless and have to find a safe place to spend the night every night. It is a precarious situation, and in lead me home Documentary filmmakers John Schenk and Pedro Kos capture the tragic situation from different angles.

The world and the cities are angry while they, the outcasts, are fully present slow motion It seems to be working. The lives of the homeless living in Los Angeles, Seattle and San Francisco revolve around their own axis: That’s what the decision makers want to say. They stand idly by, while we continue to live. This fact is perfectly captured in this fairly short documentary with powerful editing and music. So before the holidays, this is definitely worth checking out, just to remember that most of us aren’t so bad yet. 3.5 stars.
