Country music star Keith Urban will return to Nashville in 2022.
The artist announced in a press release on Wednesday that Urban is moving his “Speed of Now” world tour to Bridgestone Arena on October 7, 2022. Tickets go on sale at bridgestonearena.com on December 10 at 10 a.m.
Backed by country-pop, Grammy-nominated “More Hearts Than Mine” Ingrid Andres supporting the tour.
Urban’s North American tour begins June 17, 2022 in Tampa and will run until November 5, 2022, when it concludes with shows in St. Paul, Minnesota. Urban has announced previous shows in the Netherlands, UK, Germany and Australia.
The 50-plus show has stopped in Los Angeles, Toronto, St. Louis, Chicago, and Atlanta, among other major cities. Urban plans so far Tennessee will play Knoxville on October 14, 2022, a week after returning home to Music City.
Urban — a familiar face for Nashville concertgoers who can appear anywhere from a guest slot pop-up at High Watt to Grand Ole Opry House solo groups, a Country Music Hall of Fame fundraiser, or a record show on New Year’s Eve — is back in Bridgestone Arena in support of his latest studio album, “The Speed of Now Part 1”. Released in late 2020, the four-time Grammy winner has collaborated with P! nk, Nile Rodgers, newcomer from Nashville, Breyland in version.

Urban released his latest single “Wild Hearts” earlier this year. Speaking to Tennessee last month, the singer said he co-wrote the song for those – like him – who continue to pursue their dreams.
“I am one of the [the dreamers]Urban said. To get out of a small town in Australia and be able to come to Nashville and record and make music and get on the radio and take a tour. …in order to do that? I still feel new here. This is madness.”
