North Korea “tests new weapons” and attacks the United States

North Korea “tests new weapons” and attacks the United States

Brian Rodriguez, September 28, 2021

North Korea again conducted a weapons test, according to South Korea, a projectile is said to have ended up in the sea. According to Japan, it was a ballistic missile test.

The South Korean trial came shortly before North Korea’s ambassador to the United Nations called on the United States to drop its “hostile stance” toward Pyongyang.

According to Kim Song, North Korea has the right to defend itself and test weapons. South Korea has also been hit, saying its southern neighbor prefers good relations with Western allies over “national harmony”. Song said the joint military exercises between the United States and South Korea should stop.

North Korea has again conducted more weapons tests in recent weeks. According to experts, the country is working on a long-range missile that can carry a nuclear payload, something the United States wants to prevent. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un does not want to talk to Washington at the moment, due in part to sanctions and a “hostile” foreign policy.

President Biden’s predecessor Trump had another meeting with Kim Jong Un in February 2019, but talks about North Korea’s nuclear program have since stalled.
