Alexis Fuillermoz resumes training after several months of rehabilitation

Alexis Vuillermoz will be back soon in bike racing. The Frenchman from TotalEnergies has had to recover in recent months from a pelvic fracture, which he sustained in a crash on the Tour of Switzerland.
The 33-year-old TotalEnergies rider had a serious fall during the climb time trial at the Tour of Switzerland in mid-June and had to be taken to hospital. There the doctors found a pelvic fracture. Vuillermoz had to recover for three months and was able to cross over the Tour de France and some fall races, but now there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Vuillermoz shared a screenshot on social media, which shows he is training with his coach and two fellow cyclists. The Frenchman will again pin the jersey number on Saturday 2 October: Vuillermoz will next take part in the Giro dell’Emilia.
Vuillermoz – active in the past with AG2R La Mondiale – in his first season with TotalEnergies. There is no need to worry about the climber’s future, as he still has a contract running until the end of 2022.
